Email address — when you join the waitlist or create an account.
Order and payment information — when you make a purchase. Payment processing is handled by Shopify Payments; we do not store your full card number.
Shipping address — to fulfill orders.

To fulfill and communicate about your orders.
To send you marketing emails if you joined our waitlist or opted in at checkout. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share your information only with service providers necessary to operate our business:

Klaviyo — email marketing platform. Your email address is transferred to Klaviyo when you join the waitlist or subscribe to marketing communications. Klaviyo's privacy policy is available at klaviyo.com/legal/privacy.
Shopify — e-commerce platform handling checkout, payment processing, and order management. Shopify's privacy policy is available at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Vercel — website hosting and privacy-preserving analytics. Vercel Analytics collects anonymised, cookieless page-view data with no personal identifiers. Vercel may also process request metadata (IP address, browser headers) as part of serving the site.
Google Analytics 4 (analytics consent required) — page-view and traffic analytics. IP anonymisation is enabled. Data is processed by Google LLC. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
PostHog (analytics consent required) — product analytics for understanding site usage patterns. No personal profiles are created. PostHog's privacy policy is available at posthog.com/privacy.
Meta Pixel (marketing consent required) — advertising measurement tool that helps us understand whether our ads lead to site visits. Data is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. Meta's privacy policy is available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer.

5. Local Storage

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser's local storage may hold the following lightweight preferences — none of which contain personal data or are transmitted to our servers:

moby-promo-dismissed — remembers if you've dismissed the promotional banner.
moby-age-verified — remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older.
moby-consent — stores your analytics and marketing consent choices, including the date you made them.

If we introduce analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent where required by law.

6. Your Rights — California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or sell about you.
Delete personal information we hold about you (subject to certain exceptions).
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

7. Your Rights — EEA / UK Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Our legal basis for processing your email address for marketing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time. Our legal basis for processing order data is contract performance (Article 6(1)(b)).

8. Data Retention

We retain your email address for marketing purposes until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Order data is retained for seven years for tax and legal compliance.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit and access controls on all systems. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

10. Children

Our site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact hello@mobycondoms.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the site. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
